Alternate (Gypsy Brothers Novella) by Lili St. Germain **Review**

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The review is about ALTERNATE, the Gypsy Brothers novella.

This novella includes three male POVs from the Gypsy Brothers Series. Dornan, Elliot & Jace.

I fuck them to hurt them, and if they bleed, it's even better. Blood and pain and fucking are so inexplicably linked for me, that I'll take a woman to the brink of death just to make myself feel alive for that split second of release.

Dornan's POV was really interesting to read, because you could see his thoughts about Julz when he met her or when he found out about her. You could see what he thought about her past self and her nowadays. It was very fascinating to see what was into his head and somehow I'm now intrigued to read Cartel.

“It’s okay, Elliot,”
“I’d leave me too, if I could.”

Elliot's POV was placed 3 years before the Gypsy Brothers series, when he had ran away with Julz, but he was struggling with her, because of what she had become, back then. We can see his breaking point and that was really heartbreaking to see what led him away from her.

I might look like a good person on the surface, but it doesn’t change the fact that I’m Dornan Ross’s son.

Jace's POV was the most shocking in my humble opinion. I definitely did NOT expect to read that! We could see his thoughts about everyone, past, present, future. We saw what he went through after Julz' incident six years ago, when they had him locked. We saw a different side of Jace and his POV made me really intrigued for Zero Hour. I'm looking forward to this book, because for the first time, I was scared of Jace.

Well done, Lili. With just a small novella you managed to capture my interest once again and make me impatient for more.
