Sincerely, Carter by Whitney G. **Cover & Synopsis Reveal**

Whitney G. has a new novel releasing on April
and we have the new Cover & Synopsis for you!!

Just friends.
We’re just friends.
No, really. She’s just my best friend...
Arizona Turner has been my best friend since fourth grade, even when we “hated” each other. We’ve been there for one another through first kisses, first “times,” and we’ve been each other’s constant when good relationships turned bad. (We even went to colleges that were minutes away from each other…)

Throughout the years, and despite what anyone says, we’ve never crossed the line.
Never thought about it.
Never wanted to.
Until one night changed everything.
At least, it should’ve...
Just friends.
We’re just friends.
I’m only saying this until I figure out if she’s still “just” my best friend…

WHERE SEA MEETS SKY
KARINA HALLE

A new adult novel that perfectly captures the existential angst of your early twenties with raw wit, fresh insight, and true feeling from a critically adored USA TODAY bestselling author.

Joshua Miles has spent his early twenties spinning his wheels. Working dead-end jobs and living at home has left him exhausted and uninspired, with little energy to pursue his passion for graphic art. Until he meets Gemma Henare, a vivacious out-of-towner from New Zealand. What begins as a one-night stand soon becomes a turning point for Josh. He can’t get Gemma out of his head, even after she has left for home, and finds himself throwing caution to the wind for the first time in his life.

It’s not long before Josh is headed to New Zealand with only a backpack, some cash, and Gemma’s name to go on. But when he finally tracks her down, he finds his adventure is only just beginning. Equally infatuated, Gemma leads him on a whirlwind tour across the beautiful country, opening Josh up to life, lust, love, and all the messy heartache in between. Because, when love drags you somewhere, it might never let go—even when you know you have to say goodbye.

EXCERPT

“Gemma,” I whisper softly. Before I know what I’m doing, I’m raising her palm to my lips and kissing along her scar. She smells so good, feels even better.
She lets me do it for a moment then she awkwardly clears her throat.
Don’t make me let go, I think. Please don’t make me let go.
The rustle in the bushes is back again. Gemma jerks her hand away, as if we’re about to be caught by Nick the Peeping Tom, as if we’re doing something wrong.
Are we doing something wrong?
Suddenly the air around us fills with squeals, and the rustling increases. The nearest bush to us at the base of the yard, near the fence, starts to move back and forth.
I stand up out of my chair to get a better look and see what looks to be little creatures waddling out of the bushes and heading for the side of the house. Once they hit a patch of light coming from the house, I can see what they are.
Little blue penguins.
“What the fuck?” I say softly, feeling like my mind has just imploded. “What the hell are those?”
“Little blue penguins,” she says proudly.
I turn to her in disbelief. “Are you serious?” I thought I was making that up. In my head.
She nods. “Yup. Little blue penguins.”
And she’s right. They’re about a foot high, miniature versions of the ones I’ve seen on TV, and they’re entirely blue in color. I thought it was just the darkness playing tricks on me but no, once they hit the light, you can see the color on their oily feathers.
“I don’t get it,” I say, watching as the last of their group quickly scampers out of sight. That might have been the cutest and weirdest thing I have ever seen.
“You never head of them?” she asks. “They probably have a burrow under the house. It’s actually quite common for beach houses.”
“Look, I wasn’t lying when I said I didn’t do a whole lot of research about the country.”
“I can see that,” she says. “Well, how about that, then.”
“How about that,” I say, sitting back down. The penguins’ magical appearance has somehow taken Gemma’s heartbreaking story to another place, and she’s quick to jump on the transition. She tells me all about the interesting birdlife in New Zealand, from yellow-eyed penguins on the Otago Peninsula down south, to the Kea—cheeky green parrots that live in the snow-covered Alps. She’s animated as she tells me all she knows, and I absorb it like a sponge.
I drink my beer and she goes back to drinking hers, and before Nick, Amber, and the Irish show up all sloshed, she’s painted a beautiful picture of what’s to come. I can only hope I’ll continue to be part of the picture.

Excerpt

Someone—was it Melvin?—catcalled as Reece led me down the hall, and my cheeks flushed. “Okay, heman, I can walk all by my little self.”
He cast a look over his shoulder at me as he opened the office door. “I’m sure you can.”
Then he pulled me inside.
My gaze flipped to the roses—the roses!—but before I could say a word, he closed the door and my back was pressed against it, his hands planted on either side of my head and his face right in mine. Like right there, within kissing distance.
Wow.
“So, I was at my father’s place in New Jersey most of the day, and you know, he lives out near the Pine Barrens, so service is shit.”
I nodded even though I really wasn’t processing what he was saying as I was too busy staring at his mouth. Those lips, fuller on the bottom, drove me to distraction.
“I pull out of his driveway and I have all these messages from Dennis,” he continued, and I finally caught on to what he was talking about. “I honestly thought he was messing with me at first.”
I cringed. “He . . . um, he wasn’t.”
He shot me a bland look. “That much I figured out.” His hands slid on the door, stopping just shy of touching my shoulders. “What did he do to you?”
“What?” I blinked.
“What did that bastard do to make you throw a book through his windshield?”
Oh. Oh. My heart was now wiggling along with my stomach. “He really didn’t do anything. I just lost my cool. He wanted to talk to me, and I didn’t want to talk to him.”
“You don’t have to talk to him.”
“That’s what Dennis said, but I shouldn’t have damaged his car.”
A muscle flexed along his right jaw. “That’s true.” He shook his head. “Damn, Roxy, can’t say I’m surprised.”
My brows flew up. “You’re not?”
He laughed under his breath. “Babe, you’ve always had a hell of a temper on you.”
Ah, that was kind of true. “Is that a good thing or a bad thing?”
Reece cocked his head to the side. “A sexy thing, but vandalism and destruction of property doesn’t look good on you, sweets.”
“No. It doesn’t match my manicure.” I raised my hands, flashing him the blue nails.
He laughed again and then he sobered up, just like that. Cop Face was on, and yeah . . . the low coiling in my stomach told me I found Cop Face arousing. “You’re lucky. He could’ve pressed charges, and this conversation would be going in a whole different direction.”
My own half smile slipped off my face. “I know. It’s . . . I was just with Charlie, and he’s . . .” Unable to continue, I forced a casual shrug I didn’t feel. “What are you going to do with me?”
His lips parted as his chest rose with a deep breath, then his gaze dropped to my mouth, and his expression tightened. He looked . . . he looked hungry. “I have lots of ideas.”

Moore than Forever (Needing Moore #3) by Julie A. Richman

"You have no idea of what you do to me, Baby Girl."
"It's smoochal."

Is the love they always dreamed of enough?

Continuing the emotional journey of love and betrayal that began on a college campus in Searching for Moore and turned their worlds upside down in Moore to Lose, handsome, California entrepreneur Schooner Moore and sharp and sassy, New York advertising agency owner Mia Silver continue to be confronted with the harsh reality of the remnants from the lives they lived apart for 24 years.

Now, Schooner Moore and Mia Silver face the ultimate challenge - were they really meant to be together or will their pasts continue to tear them apart?

On the heels of the birth of their newborn son, Nathaniel, Schooner and Mia must decide if their love and loyalty to one another is strong enough to learn to grow together as a couple or if the life they always dreamed of sharing was better left as a teenage fantasy.

This is the third and final book in the Needing Moore Series and is not meant to be read as a stand alone. Book 1 - Searching for Moore and Book 2 - Moore to Lose should be read prior to reading Moore than Forever.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

"Your first and your last, Baby Girl. Your first and your last."

Moore Than Forever starts at the hospital with Mia giving birth. At the previous book we had something that was about to blow things between Shooner & Mia. So this one starts pretty intense, making us wonder what's going to happen between these two. After all these years apart, are they going to break things off so easily? Or are they going to fight for the love they share? And how about their son who comes in life so early and unexpected?

I really enjoyed the final instalment of this series. Even though it started rough, it moved quite smoothly and I loved reading their journey. I liked the parts in Zambia. Really enjoyed Mia's & Shooner's bonding with Msikana, Zac's character development & his relationship with his younger siblings. I don't think that there was something that I didn't enjoy once again, so I'm quite satisfied with their HEA ending.

A totally recommended series :)

Holding Strong will have you holding your breath while burning fingers quickly turn the pages.”
“…a fun and sexy read. It has a touch of suspense to it as well to keep the pace of the story going along.”
“The men of Foster’s Ultimate series may be powerful fighters, but they are all heart, and none more so than the hero of this installment. His unwavering support for his feisty, frightened heroine redeems them both in time, but it is their searing chemistry that will hold readers’ attention.”
“Foster…manages to keep characters evolving throughout the course of a novel, becoming true ‘heroes’ by the time ‘The End’ rolls around.”

Gaze softening, her attention went all over his body. “Seriously, Denver. Did you really want to argue right now?”
He searched her face. “No.” Hell no. Especially not with her looking at him like that. He moved in again, one hand on the wall by her shoulder. “Thing is, I’m not sure you want what I want.”
For the longest time, their gazes held while her breathing quickened and her cheeks warmed. Finally, in a whisper, she asked, “Do you want me?”
With one short nod, he pressed her to the wall, feeling her all along his length. “Have for a long time.”
“You hid it well.”
“Then I’m one hell of an actor.” He brushed his mouth over her forehead. “We have a lot of talking to do, but I’d as soon do it after.”
“After?”
“After I’ve had you. Maybe several times.”
She dipped her head down so that he stared at the crooked part in her fair hair. He brushed his nose against her, down to her temple, her ear.
Her hands clutched at him. “I got the feeling you didn’t like me.”
“I like you.” It was how her flirting made him feel that he didn’t like so much.
Pushing him back so she could see his face, she asked anxiously, “You won’t change your mind?”
The laugh tried to escape, but he wanted her too much to take a chance on pissing her off. “Where’s your room?”
“Close.” On a sharply inhaled breath, she stepped him back a few paces and darted around him in a rush. “Come on.”
At first he just watched her, her obvious urgency, the way her hair teased over her shoulders. She stopped halfway down the hall and fumbled in her purse before pulling out a key card. She opened the door, jammed the key card back into her purse, and glanced at him.
Ah, hell. Definitely close. In a few long strides Denver reached her.
Seconds later they were in her room.

A second after that he was kissing her.

Moore to Lose (Needing Moore #2) by Julie A. Richman

AMAZON TOP 100 BESTSELLER LIST

Continuing the fight for their happily ever after that began in Searching for Moore, Schooner Moore and Mia Silver struggle to overcome the ghosts and baggage they accumulated during their time apart.

Exploring the missing 24 years when they were separated, Moore to Lose follows Mia's journey from heartbroken teen to kickass businesswoman to her emotional reunion with Schooner and the exploration of the love that was ripped from them.

But is their love really strong enough to overcome the damage of those missing 24 years or will they continue to be ripped apart by pasts that can't be changed?

This is Book 2 in the Needing Moore Series trilogy. This is not a stand alone book.

It is meant to be read after Searching for Moore.

**4.5 stars**

“Baby Girl, do you have any idea what you do to me?”
“Schooner … ”
“Yeah, Baby Girl … ”
“It’s smoochal.”

Moore to Lose is a sequel to Searching For Moore. Even though it was a sequel, the most part of the book is actually flashbacks from Mia's past. We get to see what she's been through since the moment she had left California, back in the 80s. After she left without an explanation from the university.

After the events that led her back to New York, Mia's in a really messed up psychological situation. She's feeling a lot of different emotions, missing, hating and loving Shooner, after everything that happened back at California.

She's restarting her life, being enlisted in a new university, making new friends and slowly crushing on a young 27 year old playboy professor, Tom Sheehan.

But he wasn't the only guy that we see from Mia's 24 year old-apart from Shooner- past. We can see how she's handling everything, making right and wrong decisions throughout this long journey.

We also meet Michael. A very decent guy who is ready to offer her everything. But sometimes we put obstacles in our destiny and sometimes destiny has other plans for us. That being said, Michael was my favorite guy from Mia's past and I don't think he deserved the ending that he got.

When I realized that this book would focus mostly on Mia's past, it kind of felt like a bummer to me, especially after the events on the ending of the first book, I just wanted to see how their story would develop. And from the very little that the story moved forward I wasn't pleased. Shooner was supposed to be moving earth and sea to get back with Mia in the first book and now he acted like a dick, like he didn't care enough. I didn't like Mia's act at the end of this book, but I don't blame her either.

I still loved this book. Even though there wasn't a big development and progress from the events of the first book, we got to see why didn't they meet each other after all these years. I think it's a really interesting, devastating, but also entertaining story and I would still recommend it to anyone! :)

Searching For Moore (Needing Moore #1) by Julie A. Richman

I lost the love of my life when she disappeared without even a goodbye.
It was the 80’s – there was no internet, no Google, no cell phones.
If you wanted to disappear, you could.
And she did.
She crushed my soul.
A friend just told me he saw her on Facebook.
And now I’m a keystroke away from asking her the question that’s haunted me for two decades.
“Why did you leave me?”

Two decades after she broke his heart, sexy entrepreneur Schooner Moore uncovers the truth and betrayal his life has been built on when he Facebook friend requests college love, Mia Silver. Determined to win Mia’s love once again, Schooner embarks on a life-altering journey that could cost him everything.

This is the first book of the Needing Moore Series trilogy and is not meant to be read as a stand-alone. Book 2 - Moore to Lose and Book 3 - Moore than Forever are currently available.

**5 "It's Smoochal" Stars**

Shooner Moore is a man who spends his 43 year old birthday feeling lonely, even though his wife has planned a party for him. An old friend mentions something from their college years and Shooner gets down in his memory lane, getting lost in his thoughts about the girl who stole his heart back then. A girl he was never able to get over with, even if he got married and made a family.

Mia Silver was barely 16 when she enlisted on the Californian college. A true New Yorker, she was never like the other fake barbies that were dressed in dresses. Her parents had met with Shooner's family on their first day and they asked him to keep an eye on her and take care of their daughter.

Different events made Shooner and Mia bond, but then one day this bond was suddenly broken. Now several years later, is the truth going to see the light of the day? Is anything going to change if it does? Will they find their way back to each other?

This book was wonderful!! I really loved the story, the timeline set up for this, the 'then' period and the 'now' period. I really am not sure which I loved the most, but I'll say that I truly enjoyed Shooner's & Mia's love story!

There are so much I want to say, but I don't want to spoil anyone. I'll just say that this book has many layers and many life-changing events. I loved everything about it, so this is a five star read from me & it's recommended to everyone! :)
