Confessions of a Reformed Tom Cat (Modern Love Story, #4) by Daisy Prescott **Review**

I, Thomas Clifford Donnely, am a manwhore.

I’ve been told I’m irresistible to women. Like catnip for a different type of pussy-cat. I guess you could call me a Tom Cat.

This is the story about how I lost my wingman, broke all my own rules, and found myself falling in love.

Tom Donnelly isn't the marrying kind, or the dating kind. Even after losing his #1 wingman to love, he doesn't see the point in relationships. When his sister's best friend returns to Whidbey Island and propositions Donnelly for a one-night stand, he breaks one of his biggest rules—no fooling around with his sisters' friends. It's just sex, nothing more. That's what Tom does and does well.

What happens when "just sex" isn't enough?

Hailey King is more than a match for Tom's flirtations. She's known him most of her life and has heard the rumors about his "skills" for years. When her perfectly planned future falls apart, will the last man she should ever fall for turn out to be more than a one-night stand?

**5 Hilarious Stars**

Tom is a bachelor, who is against relationships and believes only in one night stands and no strings attached kind of relationships. Hailey is his sister's best friend who comes back in town, all grown up woman and not the tomboy he used to remember. Hailey had a crush on him when she was younger, but she knows that he's against commitment. How will they handle the chemistry that it's apparent between them? Will they both settle for what they can have or will this lead to more? The real question is will Hailey be able to tame the Cat?

"If the dimples don't get them , the dirty talk always does."

I really enjoyed this book. The writing was excellent and had captured me since the first pages. Daisy has an incredible talent in writing male POV. After Tangled, it was another male POV that won me over with the smartass, flirting and teasing comments coming out of Tom's mouth. It was brilliant I'm telling you! I loved his character and he has another girl on his long list of fans, swooning over his dimples and his silly pick up lines.

I can’t be best friends with a pussy.”
“Says the man whose nickname is Tom Cat?”
“I’m more like the catnip. All the pussies go wild for me.”

This was a really light, drama-free story, which was also fun and made me laugh out loud several times, giggle and have a silly smile on my face while reading this. I also appreciated that this book was written about adults , acting according their age and not like silly teenagers. I think their conversations and their actions were truly mature and this is aimed to an adult audience.(view spoiler)

Daisy Prescott has earnt my respect and added another fan in her list. I now need to read more from her! Especially John's story in Ready to Fall ^_^ I recommend this book to be read by anyone who likes a light and fun read, written in strictly male POV. This can be read as a stand alone, but it's also part of a series.
