Wicked Weekend (Vegas Nights 0.5) by Karen Erickson

What happens in Vegas…could be a fantasy come true.

Between nursing school and starting their careers, Reagan, Andrea and Natalie have had no time for dating. After saving up for a special vacation, they’re on their way to Vegas for a long-awaited weekend of fun, sun, gambling and partying.

When their luggage goes missing, an impromptu shopping trip leads them to James, who makes them an unusual offer—to be part of the female scenery at his boss’s upcoming party. Not just any scenery, but women who are pretty in a real way, not the nipped, tucked and dyed Hollywood version.

Accept a “private party” invitation from a complete stranger? These ladies weren't born yesterday. Yet before “no thanks” crosses their lips, Reagan discovers who James’s boss really is: Declan Carter, an actor she’s crushed on for, well, forever. Now she’s determined to be the eye candy who catches Declan’s eye. No matter what it takes…

Warning: Epic shopping trip results in meeting hot men. It is recommended that all credit cards be placed out of reach before reading.

**3.5 Introducing stars**

Wicked Weekend is a prequel novella to
Reckless Nights. It was really short and felt more like a prologue to me. A prologue where we get introduced by our three future heroines; Reagan, Andrea & Natalie.

Three nurses who work the graveyard shift, finally manage to go on a trip to Vegas. With plans to have fun, gamble, flirt and enjoy their days off. Sadly, they lose their luggage at the airport and they need to go shopping before they start their plans for the night.

While on their quest to find clothes they meet James. A very vivid person who convinces them to follow him in a shop where they can find what they had been looking for. He tells them that he's a personal assistant to someone famous and that he's having a party tonight and if they trust him and do as he says, they can spend the night at that party.

A party that could change their lives.. Especially when one of them realizes that he's working for a famous actor that used to be her crush when she was younger.

“She had no idea what she was walking into, but she had a feeling she needed to hold on tight. It was going to be a wild ride.”

This was a short novella, introducing the girls. I liked that we got to see where these girls were coming from, their thoughts and personalities. I don't know if the rest of the series will be dedicated to each one of them, but I hope so. Natalie was probably my favorite, because I kind of felt like we had a couple of similarities.

I'm looking forward to reading the Reckless Nights series! :)
