Spearwood Boys Volume One by A.S Oren

Avalon Clementine's boys have her story to tell through their eyes. Learn about their true thoughts, feelings, and problems while they figure out how to deal with the only female dragon shapeshifter of their kind. They were born to protect her at all costs. There is no other life for them.

This is a spin off of the series Spearwood Academy. I recommend reading that one first. viewbook.at/spearwoodacademy1

4.5 charming stars

I was really looking forward to reading the Spearwood Boys, because I am hooked to the Spearwood Academy series & I was dying to read their minds. Their thoughts about Avalon. And guess what? The book did not disappoint me! On the other hand, it was such a great read!

Even though we see Spearwood Academy, Volume 1, but on their POV , it didn't felt so repeating, because we could see also a few parts that did not appear on these series and it gave me so many answers to questions that I was curious about! The mystery started getting solved! I am so excited that simple gestures, reactions and facts got explained in this one, but I'm not going to spoil anything to you, guys, or at least I will try hard not to.

So this book contains the POV of four Spearwood Boys. Triton, Horace, Bullock & Dante. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed, because we didn't see Amr, Lusk, Paden or Hansen & I really want to know their POV as well! I can only hope that there's a second one coming with theirs in there. *fingers crossed*

It's frustrating because I can't chose just one favorite Spearwood boy. I mean, each of them has a special place to my heart. Especially after reading this one.

Triton's story...God it tore me up. I felt so bad for him. *sigh* I'm still curious to find out more about him & Mich. What is going on between them? Hmm.. I enjoyed Horace's POV , but I also got disappointed. [ He thinks that Avalon is plain , so that means that he wasn't interested in her & I thought that he was a little flirty when he first met her. I guess I was wrong. ] Bullock's story intrigued me, I have to admit. And finally, Dante seems like a good buddy. Yes, he's flirty, but he seems to have his mind on the right track.

I liked that I learnt about the signature behind their marks on their back. I was very curious about it & finally now I understand what this was all about. I am ready to dive in the 3rd Volume of the Spearwood Academy. The only reason that I don't give 5 stars it's because of the repeated parts that I had to expect in another POV, but they make me have the urge to pass them most of the times.
