I was pleasantly surprised with Spearwood Academy. It's been a decade or more since the time I read Harry Potter , but I got many hp vibes and I trully enjoyed it! Along with the referances of shows like Supernatural, Doctor Who etc. that made it seem contemporary , but with the fantasy part combined beautifully all together.

Avalon is a 15 year old girl who turns into dragon every night since she could remember herself. She was abandoned by her parents and a farmer had found her and raised her. I really liked her relationship with Ed, btw. :)

She learns on her 15th birthday that there's a school for people like her and they want her to join them. Since she has a lot of questions that no one else seem able to answer them for her, she goes to Spearwood Academy.

The thing is that because of a curse that Avalon doesn't seem to know, she's the only female dragon in that school. I liked the fact that she seemed to act like a normal teenage girl around guys. And of course I loved watching their reactions around her. The friendships that are building, but I'm so curious to see their feelings about her. I would love to read their POV and be able to see what they trully think of her. Who wants her as a friend and who has deeper feelings than that?

I would definitely recommend it & I'm so curious to see how this story will continue :)
